Sentry names new CEO, CIO

Canadian asset management company Sentry Investments has named Sandy McIntyre as CEO will also continue in his role as president.

McIntyre has more than 35 years experience in the financial services industry.

The company has also appointed Dennis Mitchell as a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to oversee the investment management team and continue in his current role as Senior Portfolio Manager.

Mitchell joined Sentry in 2005 and has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry.

Sentry's president and CEO Sandy McIntyre said that Dennis embodies the kind of talent we look for here at Sentry: hardworking, highly energetic, remarkably intelligent and an extremely analytic mind.

Sentry offers a range of investment products including mutual funds, hedge funds, flow-through limited partnerships and other alternative investment products.
