BNY Mellon has named Yolanda Plaza-Charres as a sales director for Latin America to build its presence in the region.

In her role, Plaza-Charres will be responsible for sales and relationship management throughout the Latin American region.

She will focus on covering all internal BNY Mellon channels with businesses in the region, enriching relationships with key clients and partners in the region and bolstering the corporate brand.

Plaza-Charres will report to Latin America Region Head for International Wealth Management Isaac Barrocas and work closely with the head of Institutional Client Development, Paul Sari.

Plaza-Charres brings 20 years of experience and knowledge of the asset management business to this newly-created role at BNY Mellon.
